We are pleased to present the 4th annual Youth Entrepreneur Showcase (Y.E.S.) for Arkansas. Y.E.S. is a statewide business plan competition where students in grades 5-8 showcase their potential for creativity, intuition, and innovation in today’s dynamic marketplace.
Arkansas Economic Acceleration Foundation (AEAF), an affiliate of
Arkansas Capital Corporation, collaborates with several partners to
ensure the success of this program. We offer our thanks to:
Wilbur D. Mills Educational Service Cooperative for providing educational resources and training facilities;
Regions Bank for granting students in-kind loans, from which they have the ability to start their own business;
Economics Arkansas for funding entrepreneurial training for Arkansas’ teachers; and
Arkansas Capital Corporation for granting scholarships to the winners.
We would also like to thank the many teachers and parents who have
worked diligently with the students to provide them with this valuable
learning opportunity. After all, the process of learning should never
end.
